Biography
Nazire Nergiz Dincer, graduated from Middle East Technical University with a BS degree in Mathematics in 1997. She started to work for State Planning Organization of Turkey as a planning expert. After receiving her Ph.D. Degree in Economics at Bilkent University in 2005, she continued her postdoctoral studies at University of California, Berkeley for two years (2005-2006 and 2010-2011) as a visiting scholar.
She has been working at TED University since 2012. Currently, she is a Professor at Department of Economics at TED University and director of the TEDU Trade Research Center.
Prof. Dincer’s research interests are international economics, Turkish economy and central banking. Her research appeared in Journals such as Economic Inquiry, International Journal of Central Banking, Economic Modelling, European Journal of Operational Research and Empirica. She has contributed several book published by Oxford University Press and Edward Elgar Publishing.
She has participated to the projects funded by TUBITAK, IMF, the World Bank, and COMCEC on trade issues. She served as a referee to various Journals such as Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of International Money and Finance, IMF Staff Papers, Journal of Economic Integration, Applied Economics and Emerging Markets Trade and Finance.
She has been working at TED University since 2012. Currently, she is a Professor at Department of Economics at TED University and director of the TEDU Trade Research Center.
