Young people's access to sexual health, the general health, well-being, and dignity of individuals, and, in particular, the assurance of the provision of unbiased and scientifically correct sexuality education are based on internationally recognized human rights. Accordingly, the right of individuals to access the sexual sphere throughout life should be supported through sexual education. However, it has been stated that the most important reason for sexual problems in Turkish society is 62% of illiteracy and ignorance. Insufficient reproductive health knowledge among young people in Turkey has been proven in studies conducted at universities and high schools. In addition, it has been observed that false sexual information and beliefs in sex myths are common among university students. Lack of education, ignorance, and false sexual beliefs caused by ignorance on this subject cause factors that will negatively affect the lives of university students. The fact that sexuality is at the center of human life both biologically and psychologically, when combined with the individual's false information and mythical beliefs about sex, can cause people to suffer. Correcting the mistakes in the sexual knowledge of each individual, completing the missing parts, and teaching them correctly is a common thought in the suggestion part of many studies. Given the above background, one of the solutions is to carry out sexual awareness-based education programs at universities in order to eliminate the negativities experienced by university students. In this direction, our project is planned to take place online at TED University in order to measure the effects of these programs on individuals' beliefs in sexual myths, sexual attitudes, and sexual knowledge levels. In short, with this project, "How does university students' participation in sexual awareness-based training programs affect belief in sexual myths, sexual attitude, and sexual knowledge level?" It is aimed to find an answer to the question. On the other hand, it should be given by experts in the field of sexual education. In this direction, it is planned that the training program will be given by experts according to the contents of the workshop. The program is planned to take a total of online 16 hours for 8 weeks on various topics. In addition, the pre-study survey titled Measuring Sexual Education Requests, which was conducted by us before writing the project, covers the opinions and demands of 323 university students about sexual information. 78.9% of our participants study at different universities, 21.1% at TED University. “Would you like sexual education to be provided at your university?” 84.8% answered yes, 5.3% no and 9.9% were undecided about the question. As a result of this preliminary research, the fact that university students shared their thoughts about giving sexual education in their schools shows that they are in demand for our project. With this project, data on the effects and results of sexual awareness-based training at universities on individuals will be obtained.
