"The aim of this project is to make a go-kart with dc electric motor and batteries other than a typical gasoline engine go-kart. We are aiming the make our go-kart more efficient and faster than the present gasoline powered go-karts. The electric motors give their maximum torque beginning from 0 rpm (rest) so that other than gasoline engines there is no delay for power when needed. This could mean change of dynamics of go-kart racing and for example, Formula-E is electric Formula 1 cars and the dynamics of Formula-E is very different than Formula 1 because physics behind the race is different. There is a trend around to world we should be electrifying all our vehicles as we think our project we agree to this trend and we are aiming to be pioneers of the electrification of go-karts in the world and in Turkey. As go-karts are easily reachable, we can trigger a trend in Turkey that consumers may realize what are benefits of owning an electric vehicle. In conclusion, in the project we will come up with an electric go-kart which is very basic version of a car that we can shows other people how electric can change everything like economy, stress, comfort and nature."
