Cell planning and workplace design are introduced to decrease the flow time, materials handling, and process time. These important issues are realized by the worldwide most organized practical methodology Systematic Planning of Manufacturing Cells (SPMC), Systematic Workplace Design and Ergonomics concepts are introduced based on case studies.
All the methodologies and techniques are introduced in sequence and in integrated form. Students will easily learn these methodologies and techniques. By the help of this course, students can professionally plan to develop new or existing cells. These methodologies and techniques can be applicable to any manufacturing environment. Case studies will guarantee to expertise students about SPMC methodology and other techniques.
