Res. Asst. Alım Irmak Mete

Alım Irmak Mete completed her undergraduate education in METU Department of Sociology and graduated with honours in 2016. She also has a minor in City Planning from the same university. In 2021, she completed her master's degree in METU Department of Social Policy with the thesis titled "Surveillance culture and citizen participation in policing through television: A case study on Müge Anlı ile Tatlı Sert". Currently she is doing her doctorate in METU Department of Sociology. Her areas of interest include sociology of surveillance, science and technology, media, and crime and deviance.
