Biography
Anıl Özdemir was born in Istanbul. After completing his high school education at Kocaeli Science High School, he graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Middle East Technical University in 2014. He received his M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from TOBB University of Economics and Technology in 2017 and completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics at Middle East Technical University in 2026.
Özdemir began his academic career as a Research Assistant in the Department of Mathematics at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, where he worked for four years. He then served as a Research Assistant in the Department of Mathematics at TED University for five years. Since 2024, he has been continuing his academic career as an Instructor in the same department.
His research interests include Group Theory and Geometric Group Theory, with a particular focus on the interactions between dynamical systems and group theory.
