Biography
Dr. Canan E. ÜNLÜ is a graduate of METU Industrial Design Department. She received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Educational Sciences at METU with her studies on curriculum development and evaluation in industrial design education.She worked at METU Industrial Design Department as a research assistant between 1991 and 2001, and then, as an instructor until her retirement in 2015. At different academic years, she also worked for Anadolu University Department of Fashion Design, Gazi and TOBB Universities' Industrial Design Departments on part-time bases.
She took part in the teaching teams of undergraduate level Basic Design Studio and Industrial Design Studio Courses. She has also taught master's courses on different topics such as problem solving methods for industrial designers, current issues in industrial design, and Turkish design in traditional context.
