Asst. Prof. Heves Beşeli Özkoç

Biography

Heves Beşeli graduated from Middle East Technical University in 2006. In 2009, she received her masters degree from the same university with her thesis supported by TUBITAK titled "Web as a System Organization: Frankfurt Römerberg Competition Project". In 2015 she completed her PhD studies in METU with her thesis titled "Reconceptualizing the Architectural Precedent: Textual Models of Reading” which was also supported by TUBITAK. Between 2012-2016 she taught at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Department of Architecture, Ihsan Doğramacı Bilkent Üniversitesi Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design and Atılım University Department of Architecture as a part-time studio instructor. Since 2011 she has realized numerous architectural projects and has been awarded in national and international architectural competitions. She has been working in Ted University Department of Architecture since 2016.
