Biography

Huseyin Ugur Yildiz received his B.Sc. degree from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2009; M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Ankara, in 2013 and 2016, all in electrical and electronics engineering, respectively. He worked for Turk Telekom (in 2010-2015) and Turkish Aerospace Industries (in 2015-2016), Ankara, where he designed the network architectures of Safer Internet Service and the ANKA unmanned aerial vehicle. He is currently an associate professor at the electrical and electronics engineering department at TED University, Ankara, Turkey. His research focuses on modeling and solving mathematical optimization problems for wireless ad hoc & sensor networks, underwater acoustic networks, and smart grids. He is a senior member of the IEEE.
