Asst. Prof. Bilal İlkay Aslan

Biography

In 1998, he has graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. He completed his Master Degree in the Department of Interior Architectue of Marmara University between 2009-2012 (The Relation Between Culture and Housing: Traces of Traditional Elements in Contemporary Residence). He completed his Ph.D. in Mimar Sinan University between the years of 2013-2017 in the field of Interior Architecture (An Analysis for the Relation between Child Development and Space Perception).

He started his professional career in Istanbul, in 1999. After working in Proarch and Meta-Kup companies, he founded his own company, Minutt Architecture. Since 2008, he has been working as Ilkay Aslan Atelier.

Between the years 2008-2015 he gave lectures at Istanbul Okan University and between the years 2015-2018 worked at İzmir Yaşar University and TOBB Economics and Technology University in Ankara.
