Biography

Levent Y. İnce graduated from the Department of Graphic Design at Bilkent University in 2008. In 2010, he completed his master's degree with a thesis titled "A Critical Approach To Game Studies: Analysis Of Fallout 3 As An Example Of Non-linear Gameplay." After working as a designer and visual consultant at various institutions and associations between 2010 and 2013, he traveled to Santiago in 2013 with support from the Chilean government to develop a project. From 2014 to 2022, he worked as a full-time lecturer in the Department of Communication and Design at İ.D. Bilkent University, teaching courses in Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design, and Game Studies. During this period, he continued to provide design consultancy to various organizations in different fields, participated in various design competitions, and served as a reviewer in technology development zones. Since 2017, he has been active in the field of digital games in collaboration with researchers from different universities and disciplines at NETlab New Media Research Laboratory.

In September 2022, he joined TED University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Visual Communication Design. He completed his PhD studies in Communication Sciences at Hacettepe University in 2025 with his thesis titled "Going back for it: Understanding the video game replaying experiences".
