Biography

Merve Gurbuz-Caldag received her B.Sc. (2012) and Ph.D. (2017) degrees in Mathematics from the Middle East Technical University. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at TED University. Her research focuses on applied mathematics, numerical analysis, and computational fluid dynamics, with particular emphasis on magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flows, Stokes flows, bioconvection phenomena, and heat–mass transfer problems.
