Biography

I am a dedicated English Language Instructor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students achieve their language learning goals. I earned my bachelor's degree in Foreign Language Education from METU, where I developed a comprehensive understanding of English Language Teaching (ELT) methodologies. I recently conducted my thesis research on the impact of AI on ELT education, and I am eager to explore how emerging technologies can enhance language learning.

Currently, I am working as an English Language Instructor at TED University while pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at METU. My doctoral studies allow me to deepen my expertise in instructional design, educational research, and innovative teaching methodologies.

In addition to my institutional teaching experience, I previously founded Jimmy English Hub, through which I provided private lessons to learners of various age groups and proficiency levels. This experience allowed me to design personalized lesson plans and develop engaging teaching strategies tailored to individual needs.

With over four years of teaching experience, including my previous role at METU Development Foundation Private Primary School, I have specialized in working with young learners, particularly in teaching reading skills and designing interactive lesson materials. My experience extends to both online and face-to-face instruction, equipping me with strong technical skills for virtual teaching and the ability to create dynamic, student-centered learning environments.

My goal is to continue expanding my expertise as an English Language Instructor and researcher, contributing to the success of learners worldwide through innovative and effective teaching methods.
