Assoc. Prof. Rıza Secer Orkun Keskin

Biography

Dr. Rıza Secer Orkun Keskin graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU), Department of Civil Engineering, in 2000. He earned his MSc from METU, Department of Civil Engineering, in 2002. He got a full scholarship for Phd abroad from Higher Education Council in 2003 and joined Yıldız Technical University (YTU), Department of Civil Engineering, as a requirement of the scholarship. He completed his PhD degree at Cornell University, USA, with a major in Structural Engineering and a minor in Applied Mathematics in 2008. After working at YTU, Department of Civil Engineering, from 2008 until 2018 as Teaching & Research Assistant and Assistant Professor, he joined TED University, Department of Civil Engineering, in September 2018 as Assistant Professor. He was appointed as Associate Professor in November 2019. He has been the Head of the Department since July 2020.
