Asst. Prof. Seray Türkay Coşkun

Biography

Received her B.Arch (2008), M.Arch (2011) and Ph.D. (2017) degrees in Architecture from Middle East Technical University, where she also worked as a research and teaching assistant between 2010-2017. After working as a part-time instructor at TED University Department of Architecture between 2017-2019, she received her position as Assistant Professor in the same department. While her academic research field is predominantly defined by architectural representation, architectural drawing, mereology, and ontologies of part/whole relations, her professional research focuses on the spatial transformation and adaptive re-use of historical buildings.
