Biyografi

Dr. Ayşe Yasemin Seydim received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey. She worked as a Systems Specialist/Researcher in the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBT) until she retired. As a graduate scholar of CBT and researcher for NSF, she pursued her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, USA.  She has been also teaching in METU as a part-time faculty during her professional work. In addition to serving as a part-time faculty member at METU, she is an experienced information technology professional skilled in quality and risk management, IT Service Management, IT Strategy, and Project Portfolio Management. She is also interested in database management, mobile computing,  wireless communications, and data mining. Her thesis on “Location Dependent Query Processing in Mobile Environments” has an architectural model for the Location Dependent Services Management and Location Leveling approaches and benchmarking in this architecture.
