In this study, a new constant false alarm rate (CFAR) processor has been developed to increase the probability of detection in nonhomogeneous environment and its comparative performance analysis with different censorship techniques given in the literature have been investigated. In homogeneous environment, the false alarm and detection probabilities were computed analytically. Also, the comparative performance analyses of these CFAR processors in multiple-target backgrounds were done by simulation.
