The topic of organizational design and its applications is practically there to make a significant and meaningful difference and to attain continuous improvement for all works needing people in general and works requiring intensive intellectual capital in detail. Owing to the fact that medium and large-scale systems projects and operations make interdisciplinary and even transdiscipli-nary collaboration not an option but a must, the issue of organizational design becomes much more serious and vital for organizations. In this scope, people and processes topics are also gathering great attention since these are very prominent instruments for organizations on the way to achieve their strategic goals and objectives. In this study, the organizational design topic is addressed, and applied practices at TUBITAK BILGEM ILTAREN and suggestions for this context are shared. After describing organizational design and relevant critical success factors by and large, ILTAREN process management organization structure, regulations, relevant roles and responsibilities, relations, experiences, and recommendations are publicized in detail. As per a successful process or management system is to be highly influenced by relevant group's organizational design, it is aimed that this study is to guide people interested in the subject topic.
