The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of a psycho-educational group counseling program designed to increase students' school satisfaction. The participants consisted of 30 students attending 4th and 5th grade in three different state schools. The Comprehensive School Satisfaction Scale for Children and demographic information form were used as data collection instruments. This study was based on a single group pre-test-post-test model in weak experimental design. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test for Related Measurements was used to analyze the data. It was concluded that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores of students participated in psycho-education program. Moreover, the results indicated that there was a significant difference when each school was analyzed separately. According to all findings, it can be said that the six-week psycho-educational group counseling program designed to increase the school satisfaction of the students had a significant effect on increasing the students' school satisfaction levels.
