Abstract

In this study the extension of period-doubling route to chaos in coupled systems with delay is demonstrated. It is proved that the response system exhibits sensitive dependence on initial conditions and infinitely many unstable periodic trajectories in a compact region. Illustrative examples based on the Lorenz system and Duffing oscillator are provided.
