Abstract

This session will explore how Learning Engineering can be leveraged to enhance mission readiness in military and defense contexts. Drawing on real-world case studies, including eye-tracking research with helicopter pilots and immersive training systems developed for aviation technicians, the presentation will illustrate how data-driven insights, thoughtful instructional design, and advanced deployment strategies can improve training effectiveness and operational performance. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how Learning Engineering can transform military training and the decisive advantages that come with developing Learning Engineering competencies.
