Assoc. Prof. Elif Buldu

Biography

Dr. Buldu was born in Adana in 1987. She completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Adana. In 2009, she received her bachelor's degree from Pamukkale University, Department of Science Teaching. After completing her undergraduate degree, she continued her graduate education at Middle East Technical University, Department of Early Childhood Education and worked as a research assistant at METU between 2011-2018. In 2014, she completed her master's program in the Department of Early Childhood Education at METU and continued her doctoral education in the same department. After completing her PhD in 2018, Dr. Buldu worked at Bayburt University between 2018-2019, and in 2021, she moved to TED University and started to work as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Buldu started to work as an Assistant Professor. In 2022-2023, she participated in the Play Pedagogy (PoP) project at Harvard University, Graduate School of Education for 12 months with an overseas postdoctoral research fellowship supported by TÜBİTAK. In 2023, she received the title of associate professor in the field of early childhood education. She is currently working at TED University.

Dr. Buldu conducts her scientific studies in the fields of early childhood science education, playful learning and pedagogical documentation. In addition to her scientific studies, she is a drama leader in the field of creative drama. 

She is married and mother of one.
