Biography

Dr. Melike Ünal Gezer is an applied linguist and language education scholar whose research examines the relationships among multilingualism, sociolinguistic awareness, and language teacher education in increasingly globalized societies. Her work explores how languages circulate across educational and public spaces and how these environments shape learners’ identities, language ideologies, and access to linguistic resources. She has been a faculty member at TED University, Department of English Language Teaching since 2018.
