Biography
Dr. Begüm
Serim-Yıldız, yüksek lisans eğitmini 2010 yılında ve doktora eğitimini ise 2018
yılında Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Bölümü Rehberlik ve
Psikolojik Danışma Anabilim Dalı’nda tamamlamıştır. Çocuk ve ergenlerin
korkularının yaş, cinsiyet ve sosyoekonomik düzey ile ilişkisinin yanı sıra,
korkunun edinimi, kültürel boyutu ve zamansal değişimi üzerine de çalışmalar
yapmıştır. Ayrıca, afet sonrası çocuk ve ergenlerle çalışma üzerine kitap
bölümleri yazmıştır. Çocuklarla ve Ergenlerle Psikolojik Danışma Teknikleri ve
Uygulamaları kitaplarının editörlüğünü yapmıştır. Halen afet psikolojisi, çocuk
ve ergenlerle psikolojik danışma, psikolojik danışmanlıkta meslek etiği ve etik
eğitimi üzerine de çalışmalar yürütmektedir. Dr. Serim-Yıldız’ın araştırma
konuları arasında çocuk ve ergenlerin psiko-sosyal gelişimi, duygu düzenleme
becerileri, afet sonrası çocuk ve ergenlerle çalışma, oyun terapisi ve
bibliyoterapinin çocuk ve ergenlerin davranışsal ve duygusal problemleri
üzerinde etkililiği bulunmaktadır.
